Situated in Cussac-Fort-Médoc at the heart of Haut-Médoc, the wine estate has been managed by the Cazaux-Poitou family since 1870 by 5 generations.
Colorful, fleshy, structured, very tannic, fruity, and kind during the first years, the wines of the Château Tour du Haut-Moulin have a great keeping potential (20 to 30 years and more).
2 times finalist of the “Coupe des Bourgeois”, 3 times semi-finalist of the “Coupe des Bourgeois”, “Coup de Coeur” of the “Guide Hachette” for the 1988 and 1990 vintages.

Description
The nose is very aromatic and spicy, with the smell aromas of cassis, black cherry and more slightly blackberry with the hints of toasted oak, vanilla, sweet spices.The palate is fruity, well-balanced, offers suavity, a very fine unctuosity, a good definition, an acid frame, a good structure as well as a fine intensity. Expresses notes of crushed blackberry, crushed cassis, black cherry and touches of raspberry associated with discreet hints of toasted oak, chocolate as well as a very discreet hint of caramelization and fresh almond.
