Tasting
“A luscious, oaky, richly fruity effort, the 2004 Haut-Marbuzet offers up scents of ripe black currants intermixed with copious toasty, spicy oak. This soft, lush sleeper of the vintage is ideal for drinking over the next 7-8 years.” – Wine Advocate

Description
“A nose of forest floor and blackberry cream along with spicy and dark chocolate notes. The palate is sumptuous, dense, and fleshy with creamy, rich tannins that do not lack freshness or dynamism. Cabernets Sauvignons are indeed racy. This wine combines density and tannic elegance. The finish ends with very persistent aromas and confirms the great ageing capacity of this wine that will have to be cellared before its true fineness can be enjoyed.”
Tasting
“Deep garnet colored, the 2010 Haut-Marbuzet offers notions of sweaty leather, pencil lead and sautéed herbs with a core of baked blackberries and warm cassis plus a medicinal waft. Medium to full-bodied, the palate has mouth-coating black fruit preserves with loads of earthy/savory nuances and a chewy texture, finishing with lovely freshness.” – Wine Advocate

Tasting
“The 2017 Haut-Marbuzet is medium to deep garnet-purple colored with a nose of baked red and black currants, kirsch and cedar with dried herbs and earth notions. The palate is medium-bodied, chewy, lean and finishes short.” – Wine Advocate
